Hello everyone,
My name is Dr. Adam, I am an experienced Science teacher/tutor/coach and have worked with over 200 schools as a STEM ambassador.
I currently hold a fully verified DBS.
I have a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a PGCE in secondary science education with Post-16 in A-level Chemistry from Goldsmiths, University of London.
I am a full member of The Tutor’s Association and a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
I have a Master’s degree from Birkbeck, University of London and also obtained my PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from UCL. As a specialised scientist in the field of ADMET, I have also published several scientific papers and given many lectures to pharmaceutical industries.
During my PhD research, I have published an article in the American Journal of Chromatography as being the most-cited article (internationally) in the last 25 years.
Here you can find the links for my recent citations (approximately 1,845) based on my scientific research work with UCL, and UNT (Texas USA, GSK, Pfizer, Syngenta and ACD Labs).
I have mentored/coached pupils from elite Grammar Schools, in North London, to help write effective UCAS forms in preparation for interviews at Russell Group universities.
Additionally, I am not just a professional teacher/tutor but also a qualified corporate educational coach from the University of Cambridge. I have recently provided coaching services at the Queen’s Young Leaders Awards at the University of Cambridge for several years.
Here, I have used my coaching experience to empower entrepreneurs, to overcome any challenges they face and help them to maximise their performance to achieve their professional goals. Finally, I believe my industrial experience, knowledge and enthusiasm will help your child succeed in science education.
As a qualified science teacher with a PhD, I have experience in KS3/GCSE/ A-level Chemistry/7+/11+/ 13+ scholarship/CE exams and interviews. Although I have prepared students for admission to many grammar/independent schools, most of my students are applying to the top ten schools, e.g. Queen Elizabeth, Colchester, Eton, Harrow, Westminster and St Paul’s.
The entry to these schools is very competitive, but I have an excellent success rate, partly because I have a track record with previous clients.
Using my coaching skills I can offer your child to work towards achieving a specific professional goal(s) by motivating them into learning. I have tutored students from various state/independent schools and helped many to achieve top grades to move on to sixth form and universities.
As a former science coordinator (teacher), ex-examiner, and experienced tutor, I am happy to offer your child online tutoring that will provide a structured program during a difficult time with COVID-19. I can offer support for KS3/ GCSE double/triple sciences and A-levels.
As a science teacher, I hope to infuse your child with a love of science and, ultimately, inspire the next generation of British Scientists to lead STEM careers.
A percentage of my income gets redistributed between the following charities that are close to my heart.
